WEBPCM supports the Web Transaction Server security feature Delay Authentication Retry.  When this security feature is enabled, the client entering an invalid usercode or password gets progressively longer delays—3 seconds more each time, up to a maximum of 30 seconds—before being able to enter a usercode/password combination. This action reduces the chance that someone can guess MCP passwords.
