Localizing Security Rules

Local rules for Web Transaction Server security can be developed in a SECURITYSUPPORT library. For example, the SECURITYSUPPORT library can

  • Detect excessive attempts to guess a usercode and password combination and prevent any further attempts to access that usercode through the Web Transaction Server.

  • Block access to certain usercodes at certain times of the day.
