The Web Transaction Server files are released and installed as private, unusercoded files, and the directory mappings in the ATLASADMIN configuration file are generally defined to have both Read Access and Write Access set to Authorization Required. This configuration means that only privileged users can access the Web Transaction Server files to modify the configuration and read the Web server documentation.

SSL/TLS-Protected Configuration

SSL/TLS can be used to encrypt data sent between the user and the Web Transaction Server. To use this product, you must configure a Web Transaction Server SSL/TLS port (such as port 2489) and access the Web Transaction Server or Java Servlet administration page over that SSL/TLS port.
