This feature enables you to require that all users have passphrases that were generated by the computer. A Menu-Assisted Resource Control (MARC) password screen provides the user with an interface to the system, which generates a phrase consisting of three concatenated, unrelated words. The pass phrase is 7 to 17 characters long.

The password-generating facility is also available to the security administrator while MAKEUSER is running, so that he or she can assign generated passwords while defining usercodes in the USERDATAFILE.
