The MCP Cryptographic Services Manager, which is a component of Security Center, provides the user interface for security administrators to manage keys, certificates, and certificate stores. These key and certificate management functions include the following.
Key Management

Create public and private key pairs for an MCP application.

Store the key pair in a key container for retrieval by CryptoProxy.

Associate an MCP usercode with the key container.

Delete the key pair and associated certificates.

Provide backup and restore functions.

Display the properties of an individual key container.
Certificate Management

Generate a certificate request to a file.

Install the certificate and associate the certificate with a key pair.

Store the certificate in a single certificate store.

Delete the certificate and certificate stores when the key is deleted.
