Operator Commands for the Key Manager Library

Operation of the Key Manager library uses the <mix#> AX system command, where <mix#> is the mix number of the library.

The following commands are supported:

  • CLOSE DATABASE – closes the Security Center database. Use this command before upgrading the Security Center server software.

  • OPEN DATABASE – opens the Security Center database. Use this command after upgrading the Security Center server software.

  • QUIT KMAPI NOW – terminates the Key Manager library. Use this command when installing a new version of the Key Manager library. The library is automatically re-initiated by the MCAPISUPPORT library if the appropriate license key is installed

  • RELEASE TRACEFILE – releases the Key Manager library trace file. Refer to Troubleshooting the Key Manager Library for more information.
