The Web Transaction Server uses SSL/TLS to ensure Web connections for use by Web browsers and other Web clients. The Web Transaction Server uses the cryptographic services running in each Windows environment on the ClearPath MCP server to protect objects marked secure by the Web administrator. The secure objects are protected by the SSL/TLS protocol.
