Limit the following devices to the secure environment of the computer room:

Central processor units

Disk drives

Tape drives

Operator display terminals (ODTs)

Printers used to print sensitive material
Tapes and disk platters should be stored in the computer room or in an area that is equally secure. Only authorized personnel should handle and transport them.
A log should be kept of all disks and tapes that are brought in or removed from the secured area.
