The TCPIPSECURITY library evaluates TCP/IP requests from the TCPIPSUPPORT library. The active rules file is searched by TCPIPSECURITY and, depending upon rule matches, the TCP/IP request is allowed or denied.

Evaluation of security rules in the rules file applies to all dialog traffic, regardless of its direction (inbound or outbound requests).
