Where Condition

The following restrictions apply to a Boolean expression following the~WHERE keyword:

  • Data items contained in the Boolean expression must be declared in the data set referenced by the subset.

  • When the data set referenced by the subset contains variable-format records, data items contained in the Boolean expression must be located in the fixed part of the record.
