Allowed Changes to Remap Sets, Subsets, and Accesses details the changes that can be made to the remap sets, subsets, and accesses during an update, reorganization, or modeling process. An asterisk (*) refers to the explanatory note following the table.

Explanatory Note

Since these items are not present in the user work area, they can be deleted from the remap without affecting the remap record format. The embedded structure or link can be deleted from the remap only when it is also deleted from the original data set.

Use of a deleted structure results in the error VERSIONERROR #2. Use of a deleted link results in the error VERSIONERROR #1.
