Explanatory Notes

  1. A count item can be deleted only if no counted links refer to the data set.

  2. The unsigned integer specifying the maximum number of counted links that can point at the record can be changed. However, the size of the count item must remain the same. The size of the count item can be determined as follows:

    For example, if the original value of the unsigned integer is 100, then the count item occupies two digits; hence, the new value must be between 15 and 254.
