The DMSUPPORT library provides entry points that enable the user to obtain error code text. These codes consist of an error type, an error message, and the identity of the structure on which the error occurred. Databases that do not use the DBPATH specification have a default DMSUPPORT library with the following name:

DMSUPPORT/<database name>

When using the DBPATH specification, the default DMSUPPORT library name is

     <DBPATH specification>/DMSUPPORT/
     <database name>/<database update level>
