BACKUPDATE

Determines the last time the physical file was:

  • Copied from disk by a WFL COPY & BACKUP operation.

  • Copied from disk by a WFL ARCHIVE BACKUP operation.

  • Marked as having been backed up by a call on the MCP procedure MARK_FILE_BACKED_UP with the file as a parameter. Refer to “Declaring the MARK_FILE_BACKED_UP Procedure” in the Master Control Program (MCP) System Interfaces Programming Reference Manual for more information.

  • Copied back to disk and library maintenance reset COPYSOURCEDATE to the CREATIONDATE.
