?AT

Syntax

── ? ── AT ──<host name>─┬────────────────────────────┬─<text>─────────┤
                         └─ [ ─┬─ HOSTSERVICES ─┬─ ] ─┘
                               └─ HS ───────────┘

Explanation

The ?AT command directs information to a remote host identified by the host name. The remote host interprets the text as an operator input message. After information has been sent to a remote host, a reply from the remote host is received with the following heading:

***REPLY FROM <host name>***

If the local host name is used in the ?AT command, the following text is displayed:

<host name> IS YOUR LOCAL HOST

The message can then be resubmitted without the AT <host name> prefix. Chaining of messages is not allowed, as shown in the following example:

?AT BLUE AT YELLOW WM

Example

The following example shows the ?AT command syntax:

?AT BLUE [HOSTSERVICES] J
                                  *** REPLY FROM BLUE ***
---Mix-Pri------------------ JOB ENTRIES ---------------------
  1810 50 JOB (TESTUSER) TEST
  1811 50 W ..(TESTUSER) *SYSTEM/CARDLINE

In the following example, the system does not respond after the FA TITLE command executes:

?AT BLUE 1568 FA TITLE=A ON DISK
                             *** REPLY FROM BLUE ***
   NO RESPONSE GENERATED
