You can save a query statement that you enter in the text pane and use it later.
Perform the following steps to save a query:

Right-click the text pane and click Save Query As.
The Save dialog box appears.

Navigate to the desired folder, type a name in the File name box, and click Save.
The file is saved with the .sql extension, for example, mystatement.sql.
