Basic Workstation Diagnostics
This includes the minimum amount of useful information needed to diagnose a problem on the workstation. The following files will be copied to the report problem output folder:
\workstation\*.txt -> Trace logs from the Operations Sentinel server's output folder
\workstation\etc\* -> The workstation's drivers folder
Basic Server Diagnostics
This includes the minimum amount of useful information needed to diagnose a problem on the server. The following files will be copied to the report problem output folder:
\server\* -> The files in the server's output folder
\server\etc -> The etc folder of the server's output directory
\server\syslogs\* -> System logs from the Windows NT/2000 server
Site Data Folder
\workstation\sporeg.txt -> Dump of the Operations Sentinel Registry key
\workstation\wnetstat.txt -> Results of netstat being run on client
Contains information on the users configuration settings. The following file will be copied to the report problem output folder:
\server\data -> The data directory on the server
Amux Folder
This includes the connection diagnostics for anything other than the 2200 series. The following file will be copied to the report problem output folder:
\server\uci -> The Amux (Uci) folder from the server
Windows Crash Dumps
This is not a separate folder. This selects the Memory Dumps and the Application Dump to be included in the Report Problem.
Memory Dumps
If found in the %SystemRoot% folder of the server, Memory.DMP is copied from the %SystemRoot% folder to the [RP output folder]\Server\DUMPS subfolder. The memory dumps of the server will be captured only if the ReportProblem is triggered from the server.
Application Dump
If found in the "C:\ProgramData\Unisys\Operations Sentinel\ApplicationDumps" folder of the server, crash dump files are copied from the ApplicationDumps folder to the [RP output folder]\Server\DUMPS\ApplicationDumps\ subfolder. If found in the "C:\ProgramData\Unisys\Operations Sentinel\ApplicationDumps" folder of the workstation, crash dump files are copied from the ApplicationDumps folder to the [RP output folder]\Workstation\DUMPS\ApplicationDumps\ subfolder.
Report Problem Information
This enables you to capture information related to a particular issue while generating a report problem. You can capture the following information:
Customer Name: Name of the customer.
Issue Number: Contact or UCF number.
Description: Description related to the issue.
Date and Time of Incident: Date and time of the occurrence of the issue.
Application Log
If the file exists this option will grab the user.dmp file from the workstation's Windows folder and copy it to the [RP output folder]\server\[host name].
Operations Sentinel Service Logs
This option includes all of the Service Logs for Operations Sentinel. Each set of Operations Sentinel service logs is given its own folder in [RP output folder]\server\[host name]. Inclusions/exclusions can be set under the Options subgroup.
Host Logs
This option includes all of the Host Logs for Operations Sentinel. Each set of Operations Sentinel host logs is given its own folder in [RP output folder]\server\[host name]. Inclusions/exclusions can be set under the Options subgroup.
