You can set the maximum message limits for the following buffers:
Messages a console queues when the console does not have a connection to Operations Sentinel
Messages held in the hold pane of OS 2200 Console View
Messages a logical console stores in the traffic buffer
You can set the maximum message limits on the Properties tab panel for Operations Servers and OS 2200 consoles. See Buffers Tab for a detailed description of each message.
To set the maximum buffer message values
Right-click the desired Operations Server or OS 2200 console icon and click Properties.
The Operations Server Properties dialog box appears.
Select the Buffers tab panel.
Change the desired values.
Click Apply to accept the changes you made. OK closes the Properties window.
Any change you make on the Buffers tab panel only affects the OS 2200 consoles that are hosted or recovered to this Operations Server after the change is applied. The changes do not affect any console that is currently running on the Operations Server unless you force the change to take effect by restarting the console.
