Delete a Macro or Macro Generator

You can permanently remove a macro or macro generator from an Operations Server. Delete a macro or macro generator if it is no longer of use.  If you might use it in the future, do not delete the macro or macro generator. Instead, configure it to be unavailable on a partition definition.

Note: Deleting a macro or macro generator removes the item from all partition definitions for the Operations Server.

To delete a macro or macro generator

  1. Start OS 2200 Macro Maintenance.

  2. Click either the Macro or Macro Generator tab panel.

The Macro tab panel is displayed by default.

  3. Click the item you want to delete and click Delete.

A dialog box appears that asks you to confirm the deletion.

  4. Click OK to permanently remove the macro or macro generator from the Operations Server or Cancel to stop the deletion.

Alternatively, you can right-click the desired macro or macro generator and click Delete from the shortcut menu.

Any change you make in Macro Maintenance takes effect immediately.

Note: You must be a member of the SPO Administrators group on the Operations Server where the macro list resides to use Macro Maintenance.
