Follow these steps to complete the download and installation of SQLExplorer.
Note: If you receive an error such as "Internet Explorer was unable to open the Internet site" during this procedure, go to Troubleshooting for additional steps.
1. Using Internet Explorer, go to https://sqlexplorer.dev.java.net.
2. Click Documents & files on the left.
3. Click sqlexplorer 2.2.x, where x is a number indicating a stability level, in the Name column.
4. Click Save and direct the file to C:\Eclipse2200Temp.
5. Unzip (extract) the SQLExplorer zip file you downloaded using the C:\eclipse folder as the location. Be sure to check All files and Use folder names. This extraction adds SQLExplorer as a plug-in to Eclipse.
6. Restart Eclipse.
7. From the Window menu, choose Customize Perspective.
8. From the Shortcuts tab, select Open Perspective from the Submenus list.
9. Check SQLExplorer.
10. Click OK.
Follow these steps if you receive an error such as "Internet Explorer was unable to open the Internet site":
1. Click the Info link at the right of the table, on the Web page described in step 3 of this topic.
2. Download the file from the resulting page instead.
