Installing Lomboz

To download and install Lomboz

 

1. Shut down Eclipse before starting the Lomboz installation.

 

2. Using Internet Explorer, go to http://forge.objectweb.org.

 

3. In the Go to Project list, scroll to Lomboz.

 

4. Locate R1 Lomboz for Eclipse 3.1.x and click Download in the column to the right.

 

5. Click lomboz-3.1RC1.zip.

 

6. Choose a download site; then click Save and direct the file to C:\Eclipse2200Temp.

 

7. When the download is finished, click Back.

 

8. Click emf-sdo-runtime-I200412160800.zip.

 

9. Choose a download site; then click Save and direct the file to C:\Eclipse2200Temp.

 

10. Unzip (extract) the lomboz-3.1RC1.zip file using the C:\eclipse folder as the location. Be sure to check All files and Use folder names. This extraction adds Lomboz as a plug-in to Eclipse.

 

11. Unzip (extract) the emf-sdo-runtime-I200412160800.zip file using the C:\ drive as the location. Be sure to check All files and Use folder names. This extraction adds EMF as a plug-in to Eclipse.

 

Note: Optionally, you can install the complete SDK (emf-sdo-runtime-I200412160800.zip, available from the same source as the runtime version.
