Searching Strings in OS 2200 Views

Along with the other two views, OS 2200 Console View and OS 2200 Breakpoint Console View, Telnet View also provides the Find option. But in Telnet View, you can also replace a string with another string.

Note: Replacing the string in the Telnet View does not replace the strings in the log file.

  1. Launch the Telnet View from the list of configured-connection in New Telnet Connection wizard.

  2. In the selected view, press Ctrl+F.

  3. In the Find/Replace dialog box, type a string in the Find box and press Find.

If the search is successful, the string that you have searched will be highlighted in the view.
