The OS 2200 environment has certain requirements for Eclipse IDE for OS 2200. The minimum OS 2200 requirements are:
Telnet server
CIFS/SMB server, where the developer has a user-id that enables remote access to the CIFS.SMB server. The developer's Telnet login must enable access to cifsut on the OS 2200.
For the best performance, it is recommended that the OS 2200 environment has
CPComm
100 megabit connection
You cannot have a CIFS connection to the OS 2200 under a different user name. If any of the following conditions are detected, an error message is displayed:
A drive is mapped to the OS 2200 under a different user name.
You are connected in the Eclipse IDE to the OS 2200 under a different user name.
You have another project on the same host using a different user name.
If an error message indicates that your user name is bad or that you cannot connect, make sure you are not already connected to the OS 2200. Using Windows File Explorer, click Disconnect Network Drive on the Tools menu. Look through the list of drives for any drives connected to the host and delete them.
