Using Telnet with a Project

The New Telnet Connection action opens a new Telnet session for an OS 2200 project. This action appears in the OS 2200 group in both the File menu and the toolbar. The actions in the OS 2200 group are enabled when you select an OS 2200 project. Click the menu item or toolbar icon to open a new Telnet session.

You can create a new Telnet session by selecting a project, and clicking OS 2200 > Add a Telnet Session bound to this project.

If you do a build while this Telnet session is open, the build takes place in the open Telnet session.

If the project build script includes any modification of the work file, such as specifying the work file as the output of a compilation, you must be careful to assure that the file is not assigned by the Common Internet File System (CIFS). To avoid this, you can include the work file as “@asg,ax  “ in the build script.
