Dragging and Dropping work files and elements

You can drag single or multiple linked files to a target location. This feature is applicable in the following situations:

• If you want to drag elements across OS 2200 projects in the OS 2200 explorer.

• If you want to drag files from a Windows environment to an OS 2200 project in an Eclipse environment. You cannot drag and drop folders from a Windows environment to an Eclipse environment.

Notes:

• A Name Conflict dialog box will appear if the target location contains a file name that matches the name of the file that you want to drag and drop. You can resolve the conflict by providing a new name. The file with the new name is copied to the target location and the corresponding link is added to the project.

• It is not possible to perform drag and drop operation when Eclipse IDE is not connected to the network.
