Creating and Deleting a Qualifier

To create a qualifier from OS 2200 File Explorer, do the following:

  1. Right-click in the list view, and click Create > Qualifier.

The Create Qualifier box opens.

  1. Enter a unique name and click OK.

A Qualifier is created and displayed in the list view.

To delete a qualifier or a set of qualifiers, right-click on a qualifier or a set of qualifiers and click Delete. The selected qualifier is deleted.

Creating and Deleting a Program File or Data File

To create a Program File or Data File, do the following:

  1. Right-click on a qualifier from the list view, and click Create > Program File to create a Program File or Create > Data File to create a Data File.

A dialog  box (Program File or Data File) opens.

  1. Enter a unique name and click OK.

A Program File or Data File is created and displayed in the list view.

Note: By default OS 2200 File Explorer creates only standard and private files with track 262143.

To delete one or more files (Program File or Data File), right-click on the file or a set of files and click Delete. The selected file is deleted.

Creating and Deleting an Element

To create an element, do the following:

  1. Right-click within a Program File list and click Create > Element.

    The Create Element box opens.

  2. Enter a unique name and click OK.

A new Element is created and displayed in the list view.

To delete an Element or a set of Elements, right-click on the Element or a set of Elements and click Delete. The selected Element is deleted.
