To configure a compare tool, go to OS 2200 > Configure Compare Tool.
The Configure Compare Tool window opens. It has the following features.
Add |
Adds a compare tool. |
Edit |
Edits the path of the added compare tool. |
Remove |
Removes the compare tool from the list. |
Make Default |
Sets the selected compare tool as the default compare tool. Note: ECLIPSE DEFAULT COMPARE TOOL is the default compare tool. |
Notes:
The selected tool must be a valid executable file for comparison.
If an external comparison tool is configured, then the differences between the base file and the compare file appear in a new window.
Once the third-party tool for comparison is selected, OS 2200 IDE for Eclipse does not store the path of the tool if Eclipse is not closed gracefully. Therefore, you must select the path of the tool the next time you open OS 2200 IDE for Eclipse.
