Test Connection Configuration

This feature enables you to validate your Telnet credentials before configuring a host.

To validate your connection, do the following:

1. In the Connections Settings box, enter the respective values in the following mandatory fields:

• Host

• User ID

• Password

• Retype

2. Click Test Connection.

• If the entered values are valid, then a connection can be established and a success message is displayed in blue next to the Test Connection button.

• If any of the mandatory fields are not filled or the entered values are incorrect or there is a mismatch in passwords, then an error message is displayed in red next to the Test Connection button.

Note: You can check the Test Connection even when the connection is secure (SSL Port is checked).
