Use the OS2200 log menu to view and save logs. You can use this option to perform the following tasks:
To view the log file, click OS2200 > View Log. The Log Viewer opens the unisys-ca.log file. The Log Viewer dynamically displays the contents of the unisys-ca.log file. The Log Viewer is a third-party plug-in available from the Eclipse market place: http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/logviewer.
The following are the important features of the Log Viewer.

Loads the latest content from the unisys-ca.log file and appends the logs to the Viewer as and when the logs are written in the unisys-ca.log file. This option is selected by default and so is disabled. |

Stops
tailing the log file. Logs are not appended to the Viewer. Click

Enables you to set rules in the Log Viewer. |

Refreshes the current log file. |
Note:
When the unisys-ca.log file reaches the maximum rollback size (default
is 5 MB), it creates a rollback file and creates a new log file. To fetch
the latest contents of the log file, click Refresh (
).
You can also view the contents of the log file using the Chainsaw application. For more information, refer to Viewing the Log File using the Chainsaw Application.
To save the log file, do the following:
Click OS2200 > Save Log.
In the Save In box, browse the location where you want to save the log file.
Click Save.
Note: By default, the maximum file size (MaxFileSize) is set to 5 MB and number of backup files (MaxBackupIndex) is set to 10. Therefore, the logger creates a maximum of 10 backup files when the log file reaches 5 MB.
