Specifying the BIS RA Connection

Fill in the following values and click Next.

Computer Name/IP Address. The name by which the ClearPath OS 2200 is found on the network.

Port Number. The port number on which the BIS RA is listening on the OS 2200 system.

Site. An alphabet indicating the BIS site.

You can accept the following default values:

BIS Locale. The name of the language locale for the BIS data. The default is en_US (English US).

BIS Character Set. The character set for BIS data. The default is ISO8859-1.

BIS Block Size. The block size for transferring BIS data. The default is 8192.

Select Restore Defaults to reset the locale, character set, and block size to the default values.
