Creating COBOL Source

+ To Create a COBOL Source File

1. Select [File] > [New] > [Other] from the menu bar or click icon on the tool bar. The [New] dialog box appears.

1. Select [COBOL] > [Source] in the left pane. Select [COBOL Source] in the right pane.
2. Click [Next]. The [COBOL Source Information] page appears.

1. In [Project name], enter the name of the target project for the source generation.
2. Enter a file name for COBOL source generation in [File name
3. [PROGRAM-ID] is the same as [File name] by default. To change PROGRAM-ID, enter a new program ID in [PROGRAM-ID].
4. To append a comment to the beginning of the generated COBOL source, enter the comment in [File comment]. You can also leave [File comment] blank.
5. Click [Finish]. The COBOL source is generated.
