Prerequisites for adding a template

+To Add a Category

  1. Select the project in the Navigator View. Select [Windows] > [Preferences]. The [Preferences] page appears.

  1. Select [COBOL] > [Templates] option from the left frame. The [Template] page appears on the right frame.
  2. Click on [New] button to add a template to the project. The [Add Category/Template] page appears.

  1. Select [Category]. Enter Name and Description in [Name] and [Description] text box respectively.
  2. Click on [OK].

Now the selected project will have the user-defined category.

To edit the category, click [Edit] in the preferences page. The [Edit Category] dialog appears.

Make the necessary modifications and click on [OK].

+To Add a template

  1. Repeat steps 1 to 3 from " To Add a Category".

  1. Select [Template]. Enter Name, Description, Keyword and Pattern in [Name], [Description], [Keyword] and [Pattern] text boxes respectively.
  2. Click on [OK].

Now the selected project will have the user-defined template.

To edit the template, click [Edit] in the preferences page. The [Edit Template] dialog appears.

Make the necessary modifications and click on [OK].

+To Remove a Category/Template

  1. Select the Category/Template. Click on [Remove]. The following message box is displayed.

  1. Click on [OK].
