Structure View

The subfolders displayed in the Structure view have Source Files, Linking Files, and Other Files. For these source files, internal structures are hierarchically displayed.

The following types of files with COBOL-related information in the workspace are displayed:

• Source Files
• Linking Files
• Other files

+Source Files

The view displays the source files to be compiled. This information is the same as [Source Files] in the Dependency view. The structure of a COBOL source file is hierarchically displayed under the source file.

The structure displayed under each source program consists of the following:

• For a normal COBOL program: PROGRAM-ID
• For an Object-Oriented COBOL program: CLASS-ID, FACTORY, OBJECT, and METHOD-ID

+Linking Files

The view displays the files to be linked. That is, the files to be linked but not compiled are displayed. This information is the same as [Linking Files] in the Dependency view.

+Other Files

The view displays the files that are neither to be compiled nor linked. This information is the same as [Other Files] in the Dependency view.
