COBOL Outline View

The COBOL Outline View displays structural outline of the COBOL source file that is currently active in the COBOL editor in the form of list. The contents of the COBOL Outline view depend on the COBOL program type.

The tree structure of the COBOL Outline view includes the following elements:

• For a normal COBOL program
• - PROGRAM-ID

  
  
  

• For an Object-oriented COBOL program
• - CLASS-ID
• - FACTORY
• - OBJECT

The COBOL Outline view has the following function:

• Move to an element

While an element such as a program name or method name is selected, this function moves the cursor in the editor area to the applicable element position.
