Where can I find more information on cluster failures?
Cluster failures are logged to the system log /var/log/messages. You can use the ClearPath Forward Fabric Management Platform web-based graphical user interface (also called the FMP Manager user interface) to view a system log: On the FMP Manager user interface, select the Diagnostics menu, and then select the System Logs tab on the Diagnostics page. The FMP Manager user interface displays a consolidated view of the system logs from both cluster nodes. You can use the advanced search capability to specify search strings or the date and time of the failure.
The Cluster Dashboard and the Cluster Audit tabs also provide quick links to the system log in the event of failures, with the date and time underlined. Clicking on the links automatically opens the System Logs page.
How can I get an overview of all of my nodes and resources?
To see an overview of the nodes, use the Cluster Dashboard page of the FMP Manager user interface. You can also use the options on this page to perform various management tasks.
What do the return codes mean?
The cluster starts, stops, and monitors each resource agent running in the cluster. Interpreting OCF Return Codes describes some of the common Open Clustering Framework (OCF) return codes. For a more detailed explanation, see http://www.clusterlabs.org/doc/.
