Maintenance mode is the state of the fabric in which you can carry out scheduled maintenance activities. When you set the system to maintenance mode, you can also specify the number of hours you want to carry out the maintenance activities.
When the system is set to maintenance mode, the events that are generated during the maintenance activity are not sent to Call Home. This ensures that the Unisys Support Center is not flooded with the Call Home messages triggered by the events generated while carrying out the maintenance.
