First, you will need to create a new application within the Google Play Developer Console (https://play.google.com/apps/publish/).

Sign into the Google Play Developer Console, click on the Add New Application button and enter the details of your app. This involves uploading screenshots, icons and answering some questions about your app. From this page, you will also be able to upload your .apk file which is the application package for your app.
