Each AB Suite model can be configured to operate in one of a number of ‘modes’. These modes determine specific functionality and features that are made available.
Standard mode – Supports all of the core object-oriented product functionality and capabilities of AB Suite to implement a model migrated from EAE. Available on MCP and Windows platforms.
Advanced mode – Supports more advanced polymorphic features, Inheritance, and XML processing. Available on MCP and Windows, though XML is not supported on MCP platform.
For more information on Advanced mode features, refer to Agile Business Suite Developer User Guide.
User Experience mode – Supports advanced client development functionality, that is ‘Client Framework’. Available on Windows only.
For more information on User Experience mode features, refer to Agile Business Suite Developer User Guide.
All EAE models are initially migrated to a Standard mode model. Later, you can convert a Standard mode model to Advanced mode or User Experience mode.
