Contacting the Unisys Support Center

The Unisys Support Center is your information resource for problems that cannot be resolved through Unisys Support Online or your site administrator. Your site administrator can place a Support Request electronically. The Electronic Support Request interface allows you to pose technical questions, discuss technical issues, and escalate perceived design concerns with the experts at the Unisys Support Center.

When contacting Unisys, you need to have the hardware model number available, for example, IX6800. In your description, indicate the operating environment, for example, MCP, UNIX, or Windows, and the software product and level, if any, that are involved.

If you encounter hardware or software problems when installing or operating a Unisys product, contact your site administrator. If you have a problem that requires Unisys customer support, your site administrator should call the Unisys Support Center. The site administrator can also contact the Support Center through a Technical Assistance Request (TAR), using the Support Online Web address.

If a site administrator is not available, contact Unisys electronically at Support Online.

To access support information about Operations Sentinel through a Web browser, start at the following address:

If you are already registered, click Entitled Support, and then click Operations Sentinel. If Operations Sentinel is not in the list, you can add it by following the instructions on the page.

One of your choices on the page that appears next is to view Problem Alarms. These are PLE documents that may be of particular interest to the stability and correct operation of your Operations Sentinel server and software. If you would like to be notified about Problem Alarms automatically through e-mail, click Register for Alarm Notification. Follow the instructions.
