The interface software produces the following messages, for severity Major only, if you have set DATABASE_LEVEL to 1 or 1+2 in the configuration file. See Section 3.
If available disk space decreases to less than the threshold value specified for a disk family in the configuration file, the interface software sends the following message to the Operations Sentinel server. SP-AMS can match this message in the active database and raise an alarm.
family–name CAPACITY BELOW THRESHOLD
This message identifies the disk family where the disk space has decreased to less than the threshold value.
While capacity remains below the threshold, the interface software sends this message if you specify a nonzero value for the parameter RENEW_DISK_ALARMS in the configuration file. See Section 3.
When the amount of available disk space increases to a value equal to or greater than the threshold value, the interface software sends the following message to the Operations Sentinel server indicating that there is no longer a problem.
family–name CAPACITY RESET
This enables SP-AMS on the Operations Sentinel server to automatically clear the alarm that was previously raised as a result of the CAPACITY BELOW THRESHOLD message.
