Active ClearPath Plus Server Dorado Series Server

A Dorado Series server is active if it is up and running. The Operations Server that OS 2200 Console Manager is receiving information from is connected to the Dorado Series server.

Active Operations Server

An Operations Server is active if it is currently running and has a connection to OS 2200 Console Manager.

Automatically Detected Operations Server

Active OS 2200 Console

An OS 2200 console is active if it is up and running. A console can be active even if the partition it is connected to is down.

 Inactive OS 2200 Console

An OS 2200 console is inactive when it is not up. This includes if it is being recovered, terminated, or rehosted to another Operations Server.

Unknown OS 2200 Console

An OS 2200 console is unknown when OS 2200 Console Manager cannot determine the status of the console. This could happen if the Operations Server that hosts the console lost its connection to the Dorado Series server.

OS 2200 Console View

An icon for OS 2200 Console View is displayed in the tree pane if it has an active connection to a console.

SPO Server, Logging Only This icon is displayed for an Operations Sentinel server that has the logging capability for a console but not control capability. All console messages are logged using the OS 2200 partition name.

SPO Server, Control and Logging

This icon is displayed for an Operations Sentinel server that has both logging and control capability for a console. All console messages are logged using the partition name. A control console can actively respond to the Exec like an onsite console through a network connection. From a control console, you are able to perform operations such as entering unsolicited commands and responding to read-and-reply messages. Only one Operations Sentinel server can have control of a console. If other Operations Sentinel servers attempt to get control of the console, they receive a busy status.
