The system operator can change the operating mode by entering an unsolicited OM keyin from the OS 2200 system console in the System Operation session.
The system operator can perform the following tasks by supplying options with an OM keyin:
Turn on the ClearPath Enterprise Systems OS 2200 Autoaction Message System (CP-AMS) in attended mode.
Turn on Test mode to analyze actions of the CP-AMS database without actually performing these actions actually occurring.
Specify that in unattended mode the system should terminate any nonprivileged run sending a read-and-reply message to the console that is not matched in the active CP-AMS database.
Specify that in casual or unattended mode the system should sound an alarm when a run terminates abnormally.
