Entering an OM keyin with the DBUG option puts CP-AMS into Test mode. In this mode
CP-AMS displays actions on the system console and logs them in the system log file but does not execute them.
CP-AMS displays and logs a special message for each console message it matches in the active database.
CP-AMS displays warning messages about problems CP-AMS encounters in the database.
Test mode lets you test a CP-AMS database against your system's actual system traffic and make sure that the actions specified for message patterns in the database occur. You can check that a message match is appropriate and that patterns are unambiguous.
In Test mode, if a pattern matches a console message, CP-AMS does not continue to look for other matches for the message. Therefore, actions associated with lower priority patterns that could have matched the message will not be displayed and logged.
