Alerts Raised by Default Actions

All CP-AMS alarms raise alerts in Operations Sentinel Console.

The following table shows the alert attributes set by CP-AMS when a read-alert message does not match a pattern in the CP-AMS database and the operating mode is casual or unattended.

Sequence number

Where number is a number assigned to the alert to make the alert unique. It is incremented for each alert raised for a read-alert message or UALM condition.

Where Console-name is the name of the console that received the message.

INSTANCE

Partition-name

Where Partition-name is the name of the partition that issued the message.

Console-message

Where Console-message is the read-alert message that caused the alarm.

CP-AMS 16

Indicates that this alert is for a read-and-reply message that did not match a pattern in an AMS database. A nonprivileged sender issued the message and the operating mode is casual or unattended.
