Operations Sentinel Logging Issues

The SPLSTATUS file contains log related information for all the objects that are monitored. If the file gets corrupt, then there is a possibility of logs missing or not syncing for a few objects.

Perform the following steps to resolve the logging issue:

  1. Close all the Operations Sentinel applications or instances.

  2. Stop Operations Sentinel server services.

  3. Browse to the LOG folder at <install drive>\ProgramData\Unisys\Operations Sentinel\LOG and locate the SPLSTATUS file.

  4. Delete the SPLSTATUS file.

  5. Start Operations Sentinel server services.

On restarting the Operations Sentinel server services, a new SPLSTATUS file is created at the LOG folder.
