It is strongly recommended that you back up your entire Operations Sentinel server and each Operations Sentinel workstation.
At a minimum, it is recommended that you back up the Operations Sentinel data and log folders that reside on the Operations Sentinel server. The locations of these folders are specified during installation of the Operations Sentinel server. By default, the location of the folders are as follows:
Data folder: C:\ProgramData\Unisys\Operations Sentinel\ x.y.z \data.
Installation folder: C:\Program Files\Unisys\Operations Sentinel\x.y.z.
Log folder: C:\ProgramData\Unisys\Operations Sentinel\LOG.
You can back up subsets of Operations Sentinel data by using the Import / Export Config option on the Operations Sentinel Console. For more information, see the Operations Sentinel Console Help.
In the event of a server failure, you can restore this data. After you have restored the minimum data recommended above, you must reinstall Operations Sentinel.
