Operations Sentinel Basic Edition—Manages a single ClearPath Dorado Enterprise System

This edition manages maximum of 20 Windows and 50 Linux systems and partitions. This edition is enabled until you install either the Department Edition or Enterprise Edition from the Operations Sentinel Software ISO image. It manages a single ClearPath Dorado Enterprise System. It includes a subset of the features available in the other two editions. Each Dorado Series server comes with one or more Operations Servers that run Operations Sentinel Basic Edition. They can be upgraded to run the Department Edition or the Enterprise Edition.

Operations Sentinel Department Edition — Manages multiple systems, including maximum of 45 Windows and 75 UNIX or Linux systems and partitions.

This edition supports management of all MCP systems and partitions for which you have installed the appropriate Operations Sentinel agents, and all OS 2200 partitions in multiple ClearPath Dorado Enterprise Systems.

Operations Sentinel Enterprise Edition—Manages multiple systems, with no connection limits and with unrestricted functions

This edition manages an unlimited number of Windows, UNIX, and Linux systems and partitions (limited only by the capacity and performance of the Operations Sentinel server). It also supports management of all MCP systems and partitions for which you have installed the appropriate Operations Sentinel agents, and all OS 2200 partitions in multiple ClearPath Dorado Enterprise Systems.
