If you do not specify a secondary Operations Sentinel server before or during installation of the agents, the agents do not send information while the primary server is down.
Windows Resource Monitor
The secondary Operations Sentinel server is specified when you install the Windows Resource Monitor. You can modify the secondary Operations Sentinel server after installation. To modify the secondary Operations Sentinel Server, perform the following steps:
Click Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, and then Services.
The Services window appears.
Click Operations Sentinel Windows Resource Monitor, right-click Properties, and then click on the Operations Sentinel Servers tab.
UNIX/Linux Resource Monitor
The UNIX/Linux Resource Monitor uses the ULRM response file to specify the secondary Operations Sentinel server. To configure the UNIX/Linux Resource Monitor, click the Linux/UNIX Agent option on the Installation home screen and follow the instructions in the README.txt file that appears.
