For clients on managed UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems using the Event Server API, the secondary Operations Sentinel server is identified by the environment variable SPO_EVENT_SECONDARY, which you must specify (along with SPO_EVENT) before you execute the client program.

Figure 18–2 shows the use of the environment variables SPO_EVENT and SPO_EVENT_SECONDARY with an Event Server API client.
