When the primary console fails, the OS 2200 Exec redirects its messages to the backup console. If this console is connected to a secondary Operations Sentinel server, that server automatically receives events generated by CP-AMS on the backup console. In effect, this causes a switch from the primary Operations Sentinel server to the secondary server.
